Delving into the tomb of Naga Sadow

Not happy with being left behind on mission day, Vergere intimidates herself onto a shuttle and beats the team to the tomb.  She notices a droid bars passage into the tomb, but decides to ignore it until the rest of the team shows up.

Finally, everyone is gathered together and ready to begin exploring the tomb.  A brief questioning of the droid shows that it has been guarding the doors for a long time and has forgotten its master.  Allowing his impatience to guide his actions, Kalt decides to attack the droid.  A shield easily blocks his miserable attempt.

The party argues for a few minutes about what to do with the droid, but ultimately decides to destroy it.  After a quick skirmish, they loot the body and discover a triangular datacron that looks like part of a set.

Upon entry into the tomb proper, they are quickly stymied by a puzzle involving runes and decide to explore elsewhere.  In the next room, they discover a collection of bodies and are attacked by hungry tuk'ata.  They dispatch the beasts easily enough and discover another triangular datacron among the corpses.  Their spirits renewed – or possibly realizing it to be the only way forward – they return to the rune puzzle.

After putting some actual thought into it, it isn't long before the party realizes the Sith Code is the key to further access into the tomb.  Through The Code, their chains are literally broken, and they can continue into  an oddly-placed airlock.

Comments

After watching futile attempts at destroying a single droid guarding the tomb, I had to step in and take matters into my own hands. Unfortunately, my services were not needed for the most part inside the tomb.

At least I got to blow up some stray tuk’ata. Still, not as fun as watching a meatbag blow up….. especially the fat ones.

I can’t believe my benefactor has already assigned someone to supervise me. I wasn’t but a few hours into the mission !!! Vergere is clearly judging me and my lack of abilities. Probably make fun of me when speaking with the others.

I certainly hope I don’t “accidentally” shoot Vergere again.

I’ll show my master I don’t need someone checking on me.

I figured out the puzzle almost immediately. However, I thought I would allow Vergere to take the lead on the rune puzzle. The puzzle is quite simple for any Sith who has studied the SIth laws and code. Clearly she is lacking as a student. As for that droid’s shield, it is obviously perfectly attuned to stop any and all attacks from a training sabre.
